Chris Anderson’s NOCTURNAL ARTS – WOLLONGONG CITY COUNCIL: Live projections mapped onto Wollongong Town Hall with Zender Bender. Commissioned by the Wollongong City Council as part of the Nocturnal Arts program aimed activating the Wollongong Arts Precinct after dark.

In week 6, designer, media artist, and entrepreneur, Chris Anderson will be presenting a guest lecture on his journey of discovery. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (with double major in Graphic Design and Media Arts) from UOW in 2010 and was awarded a first class honours for his 1000 Surfboard Graveyard project in 2011. Chris continues to work across different areas in graphic design, art, media, and education winning awards such as the‘Silver Award Winner’ at the A’Design Awards in 2015 for his Ecto Handplanes.

He will share his journey (so far) with us from 11.30 – 12.30 in the DMC gallery space. Please check out his website and come prepared with questions.

THE LADY & THE UNICORN / BUNDANON TRUST: Visual identity, exhibition and catalogue design for The Lady & The Unicorn, one of the most significant collaborations between artist Arthur Boyd and poet Peter Porter. The Bundanon Trust touring exhibition showcases an evocative suite of prints that reinterprets the myth of the unicorn and confirms Boyd’s great talent and proficiency in illustration and etching.
